LAKE FOREST AUTO REPAIR

I visited the shop for the first time to have my brakes checked and did not have any expectations except for the typical feeling of possibly being ripped off when you drive a luxury brand auto but I was proven wrong. The owner Charlie and his staff were honest and very helpful. I even got a ride home from the owner while my car was being evaluated. I was given an honest evaluation stating that the brakes still have life in them and was not swindled into getting them done when they were still good. It is quite hard to find a shop you can keep for a long time as we will continue to own cars forever so I'm very happy to have finally find a shop that I feel I can start building a relationship with.

I took my Yukon in for a smog check. Charlie and Ken were very prompt and courteous. They also isolated several codes that were in the computer and were able to clear them out with a very small adjustment to a disconnected seat belt sensor, as opposed to trying to sell me a bunch of extra work! Thanks for always being honest and trustworthy!

L and M Auto is a wonderful ! Can you say that about a mechanic? First I was very impressed with the look of the shop. It's very clean and professional looking. You can tell they care about their appearance. You only get one chance to make a first impression and I was impressed. I ended up bring my work van to them to fix what NOBODY COULD! Low and behold they did their job and they did it well! My van IS MY BUSINESS and it must work. When I need a repair I need it done asap and done right so I can continue to work. L and M Auto address professionals and don't expect anything lad from them and that's all they deliver. I highly recommend L and M Auto! I couldn't ask for better service and integrity of a auto shop. they gave me a ride to work, and offered to pick me up. Fair prices, and I would recommend this shop to everyone.

Charlie has been working on our cars for over 15 years. He and his crew are honest, reliable and no matter what is wrong, from needing air put in my tires to major repairs they are there. I have a new vehicle that I could take to get the oil changed for free at the dealership but I trust NO ONE but L & M Automotive to touch my car.

L & M Automotive is the best. I just moved to the area, and I was referred by a co-worker. They took my car in a few days before Christmas (the day before I was leaving to go home for the holidays), and they quickly diagnosed the problem and had it ready quickly. They've been taking care of my cars since they were VIP. I go back to them because they are honest and thorough. They've diagnosed and repaired several difficult issues with my aging Mercedes. The price is fair and much less than you're going to pay at a dealer. I recommend them to anyone in the area. It's hard to find good mechanics. This shop is the real deal.

Very detailed and prompt with replies to troubleshoot an elusive issue on my Mazda minivan. Service area is clean and front office staff are also very helpful.
