LAKE FOREST AUTO REPAIR

My parents have been going to L & M since I was a child. I recently had some catastrophic issues with my s2k and I obviously took it to Charlie and his crew as my parents always talked about their speed, superior customer service and outrageous mechanical ability. I can safely say their reputation holds perfectly; my car was dead for a while due to the scale of the issues and I was kept informed of what was happening at every step. The amount of care and passion each person there has for helping their customers and for fixing vehicles is magnificent. Special thanks to Ken and Azu for providing amazing feedback and answering all my questions; Emerson for staying late and telling me how everything works and showing me everything in detail; and obviously Charlie for bringing together such an amazing team and always leading from the front.

I recently took my car for service and was blown away by the professionalism of Azu at the front counter. She made sure I was comfortable while I waited for my truck. I was in and out before I knew it. I was also impressed with Mike at his taking the time and explaining all the work that was performed and answered all my subsequent questions. As ALWAYS, I had a great experience here and that's why I have been coming here for years! Keep up the great work! These guys are one of the few honest mechanics out there. I have used them for my wife's Town & Country as well as my Armada. I have never been disappointed with any of the work they have done on my vehicles. While not the cheapest, they are not the most expensive shop either. They do honest work at an honest price. They will shuttle you home or to work, I live in Laguna Hills and they took me home from their shop location in Lake Forest. They also have an early drop off which works good for me since I have dropped my vehicle off at 3am to start my work day. Couldn't be happier with the friendly and honest service that L&M provides. I moved here a year ago and found L&M by happy accident when I needed a smog check. I've now been back for new brakes on my car and wouldn't hesitate to come back for any other future service needs. The estimate was accurate and not inflated. I was offered a ride should I have needed one, and they even washed and vacuumed the interior of my car after they had finished! I don't often complete yelp reviews, but I offer my highest recommendation for this team!

Took the RX8 in for a intermittent Air Bag light remaining on. Drew let me know he hopefully fixed the problem by reseating the connectors that are under the driver's seat. It was causing an error for impedance in the system. Thanks so much!! I'll let them know if the problem returns.

The service was fantastic! They solved a brake problem foe which I went back 3 times to my old garage. I am very impressed, they explained everything in details, so that I understood what was going on!

Over the top Service - the gold standard - other service shops should follow their standard!

Below is my last Yelp review which is still the way I feel about L&M after getting my car back from having the follow up work done. But first, I found out another Awesome thing about them... they will drive you locally or rent you A vehicle for only$15 a day while they have your car! OMG! THESE GUYS ROCK!! Had some work done on my car a few weeks ago at L&M Automotive. The guy who I had been taking my car to for over 15 years retired which forced me to find new shop. This is a VERY nerve racking and scary task. I don't drive my car far very often (and due to my work not even every day) so after finally getting a chance to put some real miles on it I was able to see... they did am AWESOME job! I was offered a local ride/ pickup while they ran a diagnostic and told me the history of my car, what was wrong and what to keep an eye on. No pressure, and almost exactly what I expected to hear, VERY reasonably priced and I even got a first time discount. Love these guys, it was a relieving experience and I'll be using L&M Automotive from now on.
